It was Twyla Wallace from our club that got me started by setting up a palette, giving me some of her medium mix, and talked about brushes as well as how to fire pieces in my kiln. Her teacher had started her out painting a baby chicken so that's what we did

Our next project was wild roses. I asked Twyla to paint along by me step by step...as she explained each step I watched her paint on her plate and then I painted on mine. Here are my results:

My goal was to have a rose plate at our Texas Convention Club table. Thanks to everyone here on our forum and to Alma, who really pushed my comfort zone, (I lost count of the number of fires as I kept adding a bit more here and there with everyone's encouragement) here is my plate: And my roses keep improving as I find my way >^..^<
