I used Beatrice's "Swann" for this technique 
1. Start with dark color of luster and drop color onto porcelain slip with a toothpick, being sure not to put too much.
2. Now with MOP put a drop onto slip with a toothpick in between the luster color.
3. With just a drop of Lavender Oil on two fingers... rub fingers together. Now blend the two colors on the piece together
just touching the white areas with a pat of the finger.
4. Take glove off and wad it up into a ball and very gently pad piece.
